INTRODUCTION
Electromagnec Compability (EMC) refers to a
device/equipmentorsystemperformance,itcanmakeits

ence. All electrical and electronic equipment at work,
there will be intermient or connuous voltage and
currentchanges,resulnginadifferentfrequencyband
withinorbetweentheelectromagnecenergy,whilethe
corresponding circuits of such energy will be launched
intothesurroundingenvironment.Thesehigh-frequency
interference between the instruments is known as
electromagnecinterference(EMI).

vicinity of an electromagnec field caused by another
device.
• Unwanted signal (noise) emied by electrical circuits
carrying rapidly changing signals.

Ways to reduce radiaon interference one is to reduce
theareaofeachcurrentcircuit (Magnecinterference),
and the area and length of the live conductor (Electric
fieldinterference),theotherisEMIshieldingMaterials.
In terms of design engineers with shielding materials is an
effecve way to reduce EMI. For different sources of
interference,inconsideringthe sizeandspaallocaon

ing,sothatwecanguaranteethesystemtoachievethe
