tailprecisionandauthority.Asameansofutilizingthelatestdesignsfrom

ALIGN(nowincludedstandardinall“V2”kits),thePTCupgraderequires

twoofthelatestassemblies

forproperinstallationandoperation.

ThePerformanceTailControlupgradewasdesigned

aroundthelatestversionsoftwoALIGNassemblies:

(1) ALIGNMetalTailUnit,whichhastheControl

ArmMountingBoltdirectlyincorporatedinto

theMetalSidePlate(R)asasinglemachined

unit.Theupgradeisnotcompatiblewiththe

olderALIGNTailUnits,whichhadtheControl

ArmMountingBoltasaseparatecomponent

installedtotheSidePlate(R)withtwosocket

headcapscrews.Interferencewilloccurwith

thePerformanceTailControlSecondaryLink.

(2) ALIGNMetalTailPitchAssembly,whichusesa

thickerversionoftheTailSlideSleevefor

additionalstrength(5mmI.D.,7mmO.D.).The

bearingsincludedinthePTCupgradeare7mm

I.D.toallowfortheupdatedsleeve.

Ifanyofthesecomponentsareincorrect,thenewer

ALIGNMetalTailUnit(#H60133B)andALIGNMetal

TailPitchAssembly(#H60077A)arerequired

(purchasedseparately)forproperinstallationand

operationoftheupgrade.
