Hardware Installation
Fistly,connect the power supply (5 to 36VDC)to ETH232GL1 。 Pay attention to the
LED.When power supply is conneted ,the LED will shine.
Secondly ,connect the ethenet wire to RJ-45 port of the product.Model
ETH232GL1 has a male DB-9 port with general RS-232/485/422 port.It has all RS-232 、
RS-485 、 RS-422 pins.If it is used as an RS-232 port,the DB-9 port is the same as
that of PC(only pin 2 、 3 、 5) 。 As RS-422 ， T+ 、 T — mean ETH232GL1 send out .RS-485 and RS-
422communication nee ds GND （ pin 5 ）。 RS-485/422 has the same GND as RS-232.

Model ETH232L1 has transfomer isolatin between ethenet （ RJ-45 ） and serial port
（ 1000V ） .Power supply has the same GND as RS-232/485/422. Model ETH232L1 has maximu m
115.2Kbps RS-232/485/422 baud rate.It has 600W surge protection.

Software Installation
The software
config .exe
is used to monite and modify IP adress 、 serial port
rate,etc. The software

of the product dtrctly.The end user can embed the source code of

same .The computer LAN addres should be 192.168.0.* ） . 。
