BOSI’s RS-232 optical-isolated extender（Model：Y232A2、Y232B9）are uesed to extend RS-232
communication distance to 1000 meters(9600bps)、 and realize optical-isolation of two RS-232
ports.Y232A2 extends only RXD 、 TXD 、 GND signals. Y232B9 extends all 7 signals of
RS-232,including RXD、TXD、GND、RTS、CTS、DTR、DSR.
二、INSTALLATION
Y232A2 is DB-9/DB-9 sized，Y232B9 is also DB-9/DB-9 sized. The DB-9 female side is plugged
to RS-232 socket directly.

Y232A2、Y232B9 are port powered. They support commication rate upto 9600bps-38400bps.
When 9600bps ,distance is upto 1000meters.
Y232A2 converts RS-232’s RXD、TXD、GND to two same current-loops. One is the main
current-loop(T+、T—、R+、R—),and the other is rebandency current-loop(T+’、T—’、R+’、R—’).
