BS232 series RS-232 optical isolators have 4 Model s . Model BS232 -9 is DB-9(male) /DB-
9(female) dongle sized and Model BS232 -25 is DB-25(male)/DB-25(female) dongle sized 。
If you plug BS232 -9 ’ s female DB-9 side into PC or other DTE ’ s RS-232 port

then the other sid e
of BS232 -9 (male ) can be used as a new optical isolated RS-232 port. If you plug Model BS232 -9 ’ s
male DB-9 side into MODEM or other DCE ’ s RS-232 port

then the other side of BS232 -9 (female ) ca n
be used as a new optical isolated RS-232 port. Model BS232-9 、 BS232-25 only isolate and transmit
RXD\TXD\GND of RS-232 。
Model BS232C-9 （ DB- 9 /DB- 9 sized ） or BS232C-25 （ DB-25/DB-25 sized ） i solate and transmit
TXD\RXD\GND\RTS\CTS\DTR\DSR.W e firstly realize d optical isolation of more than 3 wire signals
