Thank you for your continued support of Mitsubishi Electric programmable controllers, MELSEC-Q series.
Production of the MELSEC-Q series SRAM card, Q2MEM-1MBS and Q2MEM-2MBS, will be discontinued.

Transition to made-to-order: February 28, 2019
Order acceptance: Through April 26, 2019
Production discontinuation: May 31, 2019
3 Reason for discontinuation
Some parts of the above products are now obsolete, and we will have difficulty to maintain our production system.
4 Repair support
Repair support period: Until May 29, 2026 (for seven years after the discontinuation of production)
5 Alternative model
The alternative models were released in October 2018.
The alternative models are completely compatible with the models to be discontinued. The specifications, performance, and
standard prices of the alternative models are the same as those of the models to be discontinued.

We recommend the following solutions for the production discontinuation of the Q2MEM-1MBS and Q2MEM-2MBS.
• Purchase another or more Q2MEM-1MBS and Q2MEM-2MBS as a spare by the last day of order acceptance. ( Page

• Please purchase Q2MEM-1MBSN or Q2MEM-2MBSN for a new 1MB or 2MB SRAM card on and after April 2019.
