EU REACH Regulation (SVHC 219)
In 2007, the European Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) entered into force. As of Summer 2021, the list
contains 219 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs).
GCT can confirm that all standard product(s), as stated above, do not contain any of the
219 SVHCs at levels in excess of 0.1% w/w and therefore no products require REACH
registration under the Substances of Concern In Products (SCIP) database. GCT can also
confirm that all standard product(s), as stated above, do not contain any substances as
listed in REACH Annex XVII.
We work closely with our suppliers regarding chemical usage to ensure the meeting all regulations.
In the future, if our monitoring indicates a change in Reach status for any product we supply we
will inform that customer(s) accordingly and register that chemical with REACH/SCIP.
PFOA: COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2017/1000
Global Connector Technology confirms specifically that above-stated parts are free from
Perfluorooctanoic acid (‘PFOA’), its salts and PFOA-related substances.
Compliance with The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (California
Proposition 65)
Global Connector Technology certify that all standard parts, as stated above, comply
with The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (California Proposition
65) based upon the list of chemicals published under this legislation on December 29,
2017.
We work closely with our suppliers regarding chemical usage to ensure the meeting all regulations.
In the future, if our monitoring indicates a change in the published lists of chemicals which relate
to any product we supply we will inform customers accordingly.
Compliance with The Toxic Substances Control Act (USA) – PBT Chemicals Restrictions
On January 6, 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published final
rules under Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Section 6(h) to restrict the importation
and use of the following five persistent, bio-accumulative, and toxic (PBT) chemicals:
• PIP (3:1) (phenol, isopropylated phosphate (3:1), CAS 68937-41-7)
• DecaBDE (decabromodiphenyl ether, CAS 1163-19-5)
• 2,4,6 TTBP (2,4,6-tris(tert-butyl)phenol, CAS 732-26-3)
• HCBD (hexachlorobutadiene, CAS 87-68-3)
• PCTP (pentachlorothiophenol, CAS 133-49-3)
Global Connector Technology certify that all standard parts, as stated above, do not
contain any of the above substances at any concentration.
Compliance with Chinese Mandatory National Standards for Volatile Organic Compounds
(VOCs): GB 30981-2020; GB 33372-2020; GB 38507-2020; GB 38508-2020

Declaration of Asbestos-free Status of GCT Products
Global Connector Technology certify that all standard parts, as stated above, are free
from asbestos and asbestos-related compounds.
Red Phosphorus
GCT hereby declares that all products manufactured and supplied by GCT are free from
Red Phosphorus. Furthermore, GCT declares that Red Phosphorus is not used in the
manufacture of any GCT products.
Declaration of Free from Ozone Depleting Substances
Global Connector Technology certify that all standard parts, as stated above, are free
from Ozone Depleting Substances.
