Product Overview
NSHT35 is the temperature and humidity sensors with
SMBus and I
2
C interface. It builds on a CMOS-MEMS
sensor chip that is at the heart of Novosense’s new
humidity and temperature platform. NSHT35 providing
high accuracy measurements with very low power
consumption in a small DFN package. The DFN package
has a footprint of 2.5 x 2.5 mm
2
while keeping a height of
0.9 mm. This allows for integration of the NSHT35 into a
great variety of applications. Its functionality includes
enhanced signal processing, two distinctive and user
selectable I
2
C addresses and communication speeds of
up to 1 MHz. Additionally, the wide supply voltage range
of 1.8 V to 5.5 V guarantees compatibility with diverse
assembly situations. The capacitive-based sensor
includes new integrated digital features and a heating
element to dissipate condensation and moisture. The
NSHT35 digital features include programmable interrupt
thresholds to provide alerts and system wake-ups
without requiring a microcontroller to continuously
monitor the system.
