Hardware Installation
Static Electricity Discharge may permanently damage
your system. Discharge any static electricity build up in
your body by touching your computer’s case for a few
seconds.
The removable drive tray should be fitted with one hard
disk drive.
1. Unlock the drive bay and slide out the drive tray.
2. Remove the drive tray cover, then place the hard
drive in the drive tray, so that the SATA connector is
lined up with the connector inside the drive tray.
Note: There is a slide switch position on the drive
tray. Please refer on Figure 1 in page 1. Slide down
to unlock and slide up to lock drive tray cover.
3. Carefully push the disk drive so that the drive's
SATA connector is seated securely into the SATA
connector in the drive tray.
4. Secure the disk drive by screwing it to the drive tray
case.
5. Slide the loaded drive tray into the 3.5” SATA
MobileRack ��� Aluminum and lock it.
Note: The drive tray connector at the back of the
drive bay can be damaged if the drive tray is not
properly aligned when inserted. Insert the drive
tray carefully to avoid damage.
