EZ CURE OPERATING GUIDE
EZ CURE OPERATING GUIDE
Important Safety Instructions/Electrical Information
These guidelines must be followed to ensure the safety mechanisms of the curing box operate properly!
Extension cords that are too long or undersized will negatively affect the units operation and may cause
damage and or create an electrical hazard.
When extension cords are used, always use a sufficient size and the shortest length of cord possible. (100ft) = Not
less than 10 Gauge. (50ft) = Not less than 12 Gauge. Never operate units on anything longer than 100 ft cord.
Never use more than one cord per unit. (No daisy chaining extension cords)
The EZ Cure unit is provided with a GFCI plug for protection against electrical shock hazards. (Do not under any
circumstances cut, remove, or bypass the grounding prong from this plug). It must be plugged into its own 110
Volt properly grounded three-prong receptacle, protected with a 20A or greater time delay fuse, circuit breaker or
dedicated circuit.
If the voltage varies by 8 percent or more, unit performance will be affected. Operating your EZ Cure with
insufficient supplied power can damage the compressor motor and/or the heating element. Such damage is not
covered under the warranty. To ensure proper function of EZ Cure units, test circuits (including extension cords)
that will be used to ensure it is sufficient.
To prevent the unit from being turned off accidentally, do not plug the unit into an outlet controlled by a wall
switch or pull cord. For units being powered by a generator, ensure that the output of your generator is sufficient
to handle operating loads. (Recommended 2500 WATT minimum dedicated for a single EZ Cure unit.) In addition,
you must turn the EZ Cure off before the generator is turned off, and turned on only after the generator is
running.
