Dimension Change for Select Bourns® High Power
Current Sense Chip Resistors
Model CRM2512 Series
Riverside, California – March 18, 2021 – Effective June 30, 2021, the length of the bottom terminal of select
Bourns® Model CRM2512 High Power Current Sense Chip Resistors will change from 1.8 ± 0.2 mm to
0.9 ± 0.25 mm. The purpose of this change is to standardize the product’s terminal to common industry
specifications. The product’s form will change because of the change in appearance of the bottom terminal.
However, the fit will not change as the recommended solder pad’s layout dimensions for the customer PCB
remain the same.

The function, quality and reliability will also remain the same. This change affects only CRM2512 series
models with resistance values lower than 1 ohm. The form, fit, function, quality and reliability of CRM2512
