Select Bourns® Low Value Chip Resistors to be Discontinued
Model CRL-FW Series
Riverside, California – July 24, 2020 – In accordance with our ongoing product lifecycle management procedures,
Bourns will transfer select Model CRL-FW Low Value Chip Resistors series, 1 % tolerance from 1 ohm to 10 ohms to an
End of Product Life status on April 30, 2021. Resistance values lower than 1 ohm are not affected. A lack of sales
volume and diminishing demand necessitates this action.
Recommended replacement products are available. The replacement devices are functionally equivalent, but are
not in identical packages. Please contact the Bourns team of Field Application Engineers if you have any questions
regarding the suggested replacement parts and your application requirements. A list of affected part numbers and
recommended replacement part numbers is shown on page 2. Affected data sheets are available at
www.bourns.com/products/resistors/thick-film-chip-resistors:
