Data transport
Different process value signals can be processed in the JUMO Cloud. A signal may be, for example, a sensor's measured temperature value
(example for 20 °C signal shown in the image below). It is securely sent to the JUMO Cloud computer center via a device from the JUMO variTRON
family using an encrypted protocol.
The signal/measured temperature value in the JUMO Cloud can be viewed and managed via www.jumo.cloud
. Here, the entire communication is
also encrypted. In order to ensure extra security for the client, the data is efficiently saved redundantly in a German computer center in compliance
with the GDPR.
And JUMO can also easily answer the question "Who does the data belong to?": it is only you!

NOTE
An Internet connection is required to transfer the data from the JUMO variTRON to the computer center. The transfer can be wire-
less or cable-based.
NOTE
If you use the JUMO variTRON as a gateway, further information from different devices can be sent to the JUMO Cloud. The fol-
lowing protocols are supported, amongst others: OPC UA, Ethercat, Modbus TCP, Profinet.
