HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION:
Main Toxicological and Ecological hazards:
Non hazardous if battery is kept hermetically sealed. However, if the container is ruptured the contents is: Harmful.

FIRST AID MEASURES:
General information:
Symptoms of poisoning may occur several hours after exposure hence observation by a doctor should continue for at
least 48 hours.
Inhalation:
Not likely to occur since the product is not volatile or atomized during use.
Contact with eyes:
Immediately flood eyes for minimum 15 minutes. Open your eye wide. Make sure to remove any contact lenses. Obtain
medical attention immediately.
Contact with skin:
Remove contaminated clothes immediately, and wash skin thorougly with soap and water. Obtain medical attention if
irritation continues.
Ingestion:
Induce vomiting immediately. Drink plenty of water in order to dilute ingested chemical. Do not make victim drink and
do not induce vomiting if the victim is unconscious. Obtain medical attention urgently or call an ambulance.

FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES:
Suitable extinguishing media:
Extinguish fire with water spray, foam, powder or carbon dioxide.
Extinguishing media that must not be used:

Special hazards:
If heated or in case of fire toxic fumes are formed.
Special protective equipment:
Wear self contained breathing apparatus and full protective suit when extinguishing fire.

Personal precautions:
When handling intact battery no special precautions are necessary. Regarding personal protection - see item 8.
Environmental precautions:
The preparation is not mobile and therefor no special precautions are necessary.
Methods for cleaning up:
Waste is collected in a container thoroughly marked with content and disposed of to an approved waste receiving
station. Mark the container in accordance with applicable laws and/or regulations. Regarding disposal - please see
item 13.

HANDLING AND STORAGE:
Handling:
When handling intact battery no special precautions are necessary. Eating, drinking, smoking or storage of food, drinks
and tobacco must not take place where there is a risk of contamination with carcinogenic materials. Avoid heating and
direct sunlight. Further information are supplied in the instruction leaflet.
Storage:
Store in a dry indoor area away from direct sunlight. Keep temperatures below 45°C.

Respiratory Protection:
There is nothing required.
Hand Protection:
Wear PVC-gloves or rubbergloves when there is a risk of contact with skin. Change gloves regularly during use. Do not
reuse contaminated gloves.
Eye protection:
Always use protective goggles or full face shield as protection against splashes.
Body Protection:
No special precautions necessary.
