Quick, Precise and Wireless: wenglor Introduces
New Handheld Scanners with Bluetooth
Handheld 1D/2D Scanners are available from wenglor as of immediately with
a practical Bluetooth interface.
The high-performance, but thus far cable-connected FIS-H21 and FIS-HS41X
Handheld Scanners are being supplemented with wireless models CSLH001
and CSLH002 including Bluetooth version 2.0. The Scanners read printed,
needle punched, laser printed and embossed 1D and 2D codes in nearly any
industrial setting – extremely accurately and at very high speeds.
Bluetooth, which has established itself as a standard wireless technology, increases
the Scanners’ working radius to roughly 10 meters and makes wireless transmission
possible to any other system user with a permanently installed Bluetooth interface.
Consequently, the Scanners are capable of transferring their data to the control
computer quickly and simply for further processing, as well as to tablets and
smartphones.
Where performance is concerned, both of the new CSLH models are identical to their
predecessor versions from the FIS series which has proven its reliability in industrial
environments: quick alignment and capturing of 1D and 2D codes with a practical
alignment tool is just one of the outstanding features provided by this product range.
It’s also distinguished by a large scanning distance, which makes operation
extremely easy and convenient. Scanning distance lies within a range of 38 to
394 mm.
Where ease of operation is concerned, the high-precision readers are also equipped
with a convincing feedback tool which stimulates three senses at once. After a code
has been deciphered, the scanner provides the user with immediate feedback in the
form of vibration, an acoustic signal and visual indication.
Thanks to greater process reliability and higher throughput, demand for these
scanners is especially high in the automotive and electronical industries, but theyre
also very well suited for use in the pharmaceuticals industry. Thanks to IP54
protection, they’re immune to, for example, splash-water and cleaning agents, which
means that they can also be used in hygienic environments. With a resolution of 1280
x 960 pixels, the red light Scanners exceed the industrial standard for code
deciphering devices. The rugged plastic housing also allows for work in extreme
temperature ranges, for example in cold storage facilities, cafeteria kitchens and
foundries. wenglor guarantees trouble-free functioning within a range of -20 to +50° C.

Even more flexibility: thanks to their integrated Bluetooth interface, wenglor’s new CSLH001
and CSLH002 Handheld Scanners are capable of wireless data transmission within a working
radius of 10 meters.
