Introduction
The purpose of this application note is to illustrate how the Kionix KXCJK
accelerometer can replace an existing Kionix KXTIK accelerometer.
Pin Compatibility
The Kionix KXTIK accelerometer can be replaced by a KXCJK accelerometer for an
I2C bus application as shown in the table below:

KXCJK Key Differences
The following are key differences in hardware and software between the KXTIK and
the KXCJK tri-axis accelerometer:
Pin 3 for KXCJK can be connected to Vdd, GND, or Float.
Pin 7 for KXCJK is used for the I2C Address line.
The I2C Slave Address associated with the KXCJK is 000111X, where the
programmable bit, X, is determined by the assignment of ADDR (pin 7) to
GND or Vdd.
