The Abeeway LoRaWAN® Relay is a cost-effective solution for eliminating dead spots in LoRaWAN® networks. It manages communication for up to 15 devices in isolated or hard-to-reach locations, such as basements and metallic street cabinets. The relay operates on 3 user-replaceable AAA lithium batteries and can provide several years of operation. It acts as a LoRaWAN® class A device with extended MAC commands, maintaining a low-duty cycle wake-on-radio channel and dynamically switching frequency to collect uplinks from managed devices. The relay is equipped with an internal omnidirectional antenna and can be remotely managed by a LoRaWAN® Network server. It supports firmware upgrades through USB and offers a USB serial terminal for troubleshooting and configuration. The relay is designed for use in street cabinets, underground devices, and hazardous areas, with optional ATEX/IECEx zone versions available.
