I&A Product Transition to Skyworks Solutions
On April 22, 2021, Silicon Laboratories Inc. (“Silicon Labs”) and Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (“Skyworks”) announced that Skyworks has agreed to acquire the Infrastructure and Automotive (“I&A”) business of Silicon Labs. Subject to regulatory approval, this transaction is expected to close on or about July 21-26, 2021. The actual closing of the transaction will be referred to in this letter as the “Closing.” Skyworks looks forward to working with you. Here are some details to help you navigate this transition: Prior to the Closing, please continue to transact with respect to the I&A business with Silicon Labs. Any payment for accounts receivable arising prior to the Closing should be made to Silicon Labs. Over the next week, Skyworks plans to send additional information about post-Closing changes such as labels, shipping paperwork, sales order placement, and invoice payments. After the Closing, Silicon Labs will no longer be supplying I&A business products to you as this will be fully transitioned to Skyworks. Please look to Skyworks for fulfillment of any orders for I&A business products that are open as of the Closing. After the Closing, all subsequent orders for I&A business products should be placed with Skyworks or one of their franchised Distributor partners per the information in the pre-Close Skyworks letter to be sent soon.
